Shannons Wheels is one of three major annual events promoted by the Council of ACT Motor Clubs.
All marques and models – electric, vintage, veteran, classic and modern welcome.
Electric cars on display include Teslas and the new Audi A3-etron.
The Council of ACT Motor Clubs together with the BMW Car Club Canberra has announced that the Shannons Wheels 2016 vehicle display will be held on the lawns of Old Parliament House on Sunday 15 May 2016.
Admission entails an entry fee of a gold coin donation to charity. Exhibitors please assemble vehicles before 9:30 am.
Gates open to the public at 10am.

Wheels 2016 transferred to Newlands Street and Langton Crescent Car Parks due to wet weather
- The NCA has advised that the East, West and North Lawns and John Dunmore Lang Lawns will no longer be available for Wheels 2016 this Sunday 15 May, due to the continued wet weather.
- An alternative wet weather plan has been submitted to the NCA which has been approved. This will involve using the car parks around the Treasury Building with access off Newlands Street and Langton Crescent.
