The Electric Vehicle Council is the national body representing the electric vehicle industry in Australia. As the market is emerging in Australia, our work is particularly aimed at increasing certainty for investment through policy, knowledge sharing and education.

Through our efforts, the transition to electric vehicles and its benefits have become a household discussion in Australia and the issue sits squarely on the agenda of every government across the country.
With an entrepreneurial domestic sector, Australia stands to become a global powerhouse in the electric vehicle industry.
Our Team
The Electric Vehicle Council has endorsed the Global MOU on Zero-Emission Medium- and Heavy-Duty Vehicles.
We support an accelerating path to 100% zero-emission bus and truck sales by 2040 to help create greater awareness of and movement toward addressing the climate crisis through transport.
